We carry over 35 fabric lines in stock in a huge variety of colours - refer 'Stock Service'. All our fabrics are circular knitted and include favourites such as Colorado cotton, fleecy, ribs, rugby, piques with matching collars, fancy knits, Miami micro, stretch terry toweling amongst many others.
What are the minimum quantities I can purchase from Stock Service?
Generally, one roll of fabric is the minimum quantity (metreage per roll varies between 50 and 90 metres depending on the fabric). However, we do cut lengths of fabric for sampling purposes, at a small surcharge.
Can you cut lengths of fabric from stock fabrics?
Yes, for a small surcharge we are able to cut your desired length of fabric.
What are your payment methods?
Personal cheque, company cheque, Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard and cash.
What if I need a special colour/ fabric?
Standardknit fabrics specialises in manufacturing quality fabrics to your specifications. We supply many of the largest garment manufacturers in Australia. Minimum quantities are required . Refer to 'made to order’
Does Standardknit manufacture all their own fabrics?
Yes, everything we produce is manufactured in Sydney (in our own modern Botany mill) and dyed and finished in our sophisticated and modern dyehouse.
Can I purchase fabric on line?
Not at this time, however if you contact our helpful sales staff they can organise your purchase promptly. We happily accept email enquiries.
Do you supply export (overseas) customers?
Yes, our fabric can be shipped overseas , however, freight would need to be organized and paid for by the receiver. Please contact our sales staff with any enquiries.
What are the opening hours for the Sydney showroom?
Monday - Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm
Closed public holidays and over the Christmas period.
How much fabric is there on a roll?
Depending on the weight of the fabric, roll lengths vary between 40 and 90 metres.
Are you an accredited company?
Yes, both our knitting mill and dyehouse have achieved ISO 9001 accreditation. Our fabrics are manufactured and finished according to strict guidelines.
